Sony Dual
3½" floppy drives

I have made up some dual 3½" floppy drives, modified to operate correctly as drives 0 and 1 on the BBC micro, complete with ribbon cable and power cable to run the drives from the BBC auxiliary output.

For single floppy drives, I have two options. The first option are Sony MPF920 drives, specially modified to work as Drive 0 with the BBC, and complete with data ribbon cable and power lead.

8271 Disc

I have put together some kits of 8271 disc interfaces for the BBC Model B.

These contain all the chips needed to perform the disc upgrade, including the rare 8271 floppy disc controller. All the ICs, including the 8271 are new, unused parts and NOT salvaged from old Beebs! The 8271 Kit is supplied with Acorn DNFS ROM and fitting instructions.

27C256 32K EPROM		£4
These are BRAND NEW 28-pin EPROMs which can be used as direct replacements for the old 2764 8K and 27128 16K EPROMs. They are suitable for holding 8K, 16K or 32K ROM images. They can also hold 2 16K ROM images for those programmers which can programme "high" and "low" halves of the chip.

The programming voltage of these devices is 12.5V so they will work with any BBC EPROM programmers which use 12V. They can be erased with ultra-violet light.

BeebMaster's own sideways RAM module for the BBC Model B providing a 16K bank of SRAM. Complete with full fitting instructions and a utility disc to load data into the module.

62256 RAM Chip for Sideways ROM/RAM Boards		£4
These chips fit into the sockets provided on certain BBC Model B ROM expansion boards intended for 8K RAM chips. There are usually two sockets and two chips provide a 16K bank of sideways RAM on board. No soldering required - just plug in and go! I am supplying the 62256 device, in fact a 32K RAM chip but suitable for all ROM boards which require the 6264.

Econet LeadsSOLD OUTI have a number of second-hand Econet leads. They are five-pin DIN to five-pin DIN in black or grey

TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE - at the moment my Econet is being held together with T-pieces and Econet leads until I re-wire my socket boxes so all my spare leads are in use!
Network Cable50p per yardThis brand new cable is the same as I use for my own Econet. The outer insulation is black and there are four different coloured insulated wires inside which you use for the two clock and two data lines. There is a fifth uninsulated strand of wire for use as the earth connection.

MDFS Hard Disc

Partition Size:
A SCSI hard disc drive fully formatted to maximum size (ie. 8 partitions of 60MB each) for use in an SJ Research MDFS with the Parity & SCSI-2 modifications, or a partition size of 35MB for use in MDFS units with the older software.

These discs are ready to be installed into an MDFS Expansion Box and so are supplied WITHOUT power supplies or connecting cables.

Also available on request are discs formatted for use in MDFS units without Parity or SCSI-2 mod.

A key to operate the MDFS keyswitch. All keys are the same so this will fit any MDFS.
MDFS Master Disc£3
Select Disc Size:
Available as 5¼" or 3½" floppy disc. A blank disc formatted for use as a storage disc with the SJ Research MDFS.

This disc is blank storage disc in MDFS format and does not contain the MDFS File Server code.
MDFS All-Purpose Boot Disc£5
Select Disc Size:
Available as 5¼" or 3½" floppy disc. This floppy disc will get you into any SJ Research MDFS which you cannot access because you do not know the user name or password of one of the users or a system privileged user.
