The BeebMaster 32K Sideways RAM Module provides 32K of sideways RAM for your BBC Model B, arranged as two 16K banks. To enable write-access to the module, a flying lead goes from the chip to a spring clip which is simply attached to one of three positions on the BBC Model B motherboard. A second flying lead connects to one of two positions on the motherboard allowing the BBC micro to recognise the module as two separate RAM banks.

No soldering is required - just plug the module into a ROM socket, attach the two clips and switch on!

With the 32K Sideways RAM module, you can load all your favourite ROMs straight into your BBC without having to put them on EPROMs first. You can write your own sideways ROM software and test it at any time by loading the code into the Sideways RAM module.

The BeebMaster 32K Sideways RAM Module comes with full fitting and operating instructions together with a web link to download an image of the utility disc containing the software required to load data into the module. The utility disc is optionally available on a 3½" floppy disc.

The BeebMaster 32K SRAM Module is compatible with the SRAM Utilities which are part of Acorn 1770 DFS and other third-party sideways RAM loaders. It is intended for use in a BBC Model B without a ROM expansion board. It is not suitable for BBC B+ or Master Series machines and may not be compatible with certain BBC B ROM boards.
