Please take a look at the items currently available at the BeebShop below:

Please read the important information about these drives before ordering. |
![]() BeebMaster Econet Clock | £50 | The BeebMaster Econet Clock is the ultimate network clock, combining all the best features of the earlier Acorn and SJ Research clocks: please click here for more information about the brand-new BeebMaster Econet Clock. |
![]() 8271 Disc Upgrade Kit | £25 | The BeebMaster 8271 disc upgrade kit contains all the ICs required to add a disc interface to a tape-only BBC Model B, including the long-obsolete Intel 8271 controller. All the logic chips are brand new and the kit comes with full fitting instructions. I can supply the kit with either the standard Acorn DFS 1.20 in the DNFS ROM, or the modified version 1.21 which works better with modern 3½" disc drives - please specify using the options opposite. |

![]() Dual Floppy Upgrade Pack | £60 | The BeebMaster Disc Upgrade Pack is a complete upgrade to 3½" floppy drives for the BBC Model B, at a discount to ordering the items individually. The Dual Upgrade Pack contains one of my Sony Dual 3½" Floppy Drives, an 8271 Disc Upgrade Kit supplied with modified DNFS 1.21 and a backup copy of the BBC Model B Welcome disc on a 3½" floppy. All you need to bring your Beeb straight into the 1990s! Please read the important information about these drives before ordering. |
| ANFS ROM | £5 | Brand-new chip containing Acorn ANFS 4.25, the Advanced Network Filing System for use with all BBC Master Series machines with Econet module fitted. |
| DNFS 1.20 ROM | £5 | Brand-new chip containing DNFS 1.20, the combined Disc & Econet ROM for the BBC Model B and BBC B+. DNFS 1.20 contains Acorn 8271 DFS 1.20 and Acorn NFS 3.60, and the Tube host code which is required to allow 6502 and other second processors to be detected by a BBC B. |
| DNFS 1.21 ROM | £5 | Brand-new chip containing DNFS 1.21, with the modified DFS version 1.21 reducing some of the timing problems experienced when using modern 3.5" floppy disc drives with the 8271 disc controller, and NFS 3.60 and the Tube host code. |
| Bespoke DNFS 1.21 ROM | £6 | If your Econet file server isn't station 254, and your Econet printer server isn't station 235 - for instance, if you are running your network with a FileStore or SJ MDFS, which combine the file and print server in a single network station - then using NFS on a BBC Model B can be a bit of a pain: you have to tell the Beeb the correct server station numbers every time you switch on or press CTRL-BREAK. With this bespoke DNFS 1.21 chip, the correct station numbers are programmed into the ROM to eradicate this time-consuming and frustrating problem! Simply tell me the File Server and Printer Server station number in the Special Instructions when ordering, and I'll zap the correct numbers into the ROM for you. |
![]() 27C256 32K EPROM | £4 | These are BRAND NEW 28-pin EPROMs which can be used as direct replacements for the old 2764 8K and 27128 16K EPROMs. They are suitable for holding 8K, 16K or 32K ROM images. They can also hold 2 16K ROM images for those programmers which can programme "high" and "low" halves of the chip. The programming voltage of these devices is 12.5V so they will work with any BBC EPROM programmers which use 12V. They can be erased with ultra-violet light. |
| 27C256 32K EPROM 5-pack | £16 | As above, but five for the price of four! |
![]() 32K Sideways RAM Module with Utility Disc | £15 | The new BeebMaster 32K Sideways RAM module provides twice as much sideways RAM storage as its 16K predecessor whilst still only taking up a single ROM socket inside your Beeb! The 32K RAM is arranged as two separate 16K banks of RAM into each of which a ROM image or other data can be loaded. The module comes with full fitting and operating instructions and a utility disc on 3½" floppy with routines for loading data into the module. |
![]() 32K Sideways RAM Module (no Utility Disc) | £12 | The new BeebMaster 32K Sideways RAM module, as above but without a utility disc, for those who don't need it or who can make up their own disc from the disc image download. |
![]() 16K Sideways RAM Module | £10 | BeebMaster's own sideways RAM module for the BBC Model B providing a 16K bank of SRAM. Complete with full fitting instructions and a link to download a disc image for you to make up a utility disc for loading data into the module. N.B. Following the introduction of the new 32K module, the 16K SRAM module is being phased out and will be available only as long as the present stock lasts. |
![]() 62256 RAM Chip for Sideways ROM/RAM Boards | £4 | These chips fit into the sockets provided on certain BBC Model B ROM expansion boards intended for 8K RAM chips. There are usually two sockets and two chips provide a 16K bank of sideways RAM on board. No soldering required - just plug in and go! I am supplying the 62256 device, in fact a 32K RAM chip but suitable for all ROM boards which require the 6264. These devices can also be used in Master Series ROM cartridges to add an additional 16K Sideways RAM bank. |
| 6264 RAM Chip for Sideways ROM/RAM Boards | £3 | As above but the 6264 8K chip which I have now been able to obtain. |

![]() 5¼" Floppy Drive Ribbon Cable | £12 | Ribbon cable suitable for use with BBC 5¼" floppy disc drives. These brand-new ribbon cables are approximately 3 feet long with a 34-way IDC header at one end for plugging under your Beeb and and edge card connector at the other end to slot onto the floppy drive. They are also suitable for certain types of ST506 Winchester Disc controller boards. |
![]() 3½" Floppy Drive Ribbon Cable | £8 | Ribbon cable suitable for use with BBC 3½" floppy disc drives. These brand-new ribbon cables are approximately 3 feet long with a 34-way IDC header at either end to connect between the underside of the Beeb and the floppy drive. They are also suitable for some 1MHz bus devices such as host adapters or for through-connecting devices with a 1MHz out socket at the back. |
![]() 34-way Extension Ribbon Cable | £10 | You know how it is - the Winchester, which weighs 7 tons, is at one end of the room with 189 things on top of it, but the Beeb you want to use it with is at the other end of the room. What you need is an extension cable! These brand-new 34-way ribbon cables are 3 feet long with an IDC socket at one end for plugging into the Disc Drive or 1MHz Bus socket underneath your Beeb, and an IDC extension plug at the other end to take the device which needs a bit more rope. Suitable for floppy disc drives, Winchester discs and other 1MHz bus devices. Other cable lengths available on request. |
![]() 37-way D-Type Ribbon Cable | £12 | Ribbon cable suitable for use with Acorn Winchester Discs and other devices which use a 34-way cable connected to a 37-way D-type connector. These brand-new 34-way ribbon cables are approximately 3 feet long with a 34-way IDC header at one end for connecting to your BBC micro and a 37-way D-type plug at the other end for connecting to the Acorn Winchester, Digistore or other suitable device. |
![]() Single 3½" Floppy Disc Drive Power Cable | £8 | Power cable for a single 3½" floppy disc drive. These brand new leads are approximately 3 feet long with an auxilary power plug at one end to connect to the aux power output of the BBC PSU and a 4-way socket at the other end for plugging into standard 3½" floppy disc drives. |
![]() Dual 3½" Floppy Disc Drive Power Cable | £10 | Power cable for dual 3½" floppy disc drives. These brand new leads are approximately 3 feet long with an auxilary power plug at one end to connect to the aux power output of the BBC PSU and two 4-way sockets at the other end for plugging into two standard 3½" floppy disc drives. NB. Please note that these are the actual leads I use with the BeebMaster Dual Floppy drives and as such they are only suitable for use with half-height bare floppy drives mounted one on top of the other. Due to the closeness of the two floppy power connectors, they are not suitable for drives mounted side-by-side or for drives with a depth of more than 1 inch between the two power connectors. If you are after something along these lines, please ask as I may be able to help. |
![]() BBC Model B Keyboard DIP Switch | £3 | Brand-new 8-way DIP switch for soldering to the keyboard links of a BBC Model B. This switch allows you to change the keyboard link settings quickly and easily without the bother or permanence of soldering wire links. Especially useful for setting the disc controller drive timings to the optimum settings for modern 3½" floppy drives. Available in an exciting choice of colours! |

The disc also contains special utilities for formatting and verifying discs under the Acorn 8271 DFS, as the utilities originally supplied by Acorn do not work correctly with BeebMaster floppy disc drives. Also available for a limited time on 5¼" media. |
| Master & BBC Micro Combined Welcome Disc Backup Copy | £5 | This disc is the above two items, combined on a single, brand-new 3½" disc! It is formatted as an ADFS "M" 320K disc so the ADFS part of the disc can be accessed in ADFS as drive 0. The DFS part is on the other side of disc, accessed using *DRIVE 2 (or *DRIVE 3) in DFS. Also available for a limited time on 5¼" media. |

LOW STOCK WARNING Much as I might wish otherwise, the reality is that the BeebShop isn't going to be here forever! I'm finding it more and more difficult to source replacement parts for many items at the BeebShop. Most items will be phased out when the current stock is exhausted. In particular, I'm running low on stock of BeebMaster floppy disc drives and disc & Econet upgrade kits. I should be able to supply ribbon cables and power leads for a good while yet, as well as blank EPROMs and my Sideways RAM products and the good news is that the supply of BeebMaster Econet Clocks and Econet Modules will probably never run out. I've recently sourced some new Econet leads but I'm not sure how long this new source will last. ORDERING INFORMATION Ordering from the BeebShop couldn't be simpler! In fact, I've tried to make the whole process so painless that it's a wonder other websites aren't making it this easy too! You don't have to register with me, or subscribe to any monthly newsletters and you don't even have to tell me a whole load of personal information and half of your life history! Let's face it, you don't want to tell me and I don't want to know, so let's skip all that guff and go straight to the Buying bit so everyone's happy! Yep, all you have to do to buy from the BeebShop is click on the "Put in my BeebBasket" button next to most of the items and then you will be shown the contents of your BeebBasket using a secure Paypal shopping screen. You can then opt to carry on shopping or pay for the items you have chosen via Paypal. At any time, you can click on the "Look in My BeebBasket" button at the top of this page to see the items you are currently buying, and change quantities or remove anything you don't want. If there is no "Put in my BeebBasket" button or you have an enquiry about an item, just drop me a quick line to Enquiries@BeebShop.co.uk and I'll get back to you with the price including postage and payment methods you can use. That's all there is to it! Did I mention that you don't have to register or subscribe for anything or subject yourself to receiving oodles of junk mail from me or buy things you don't want because of a minimum order level or tell me your telephone number or date of birth or annual income? I will ship most items worldwide but heavy or bulky items including BBC Master computers, printers, second hand floppy disc drives and monitors are only available in the United Kingdom. All prices above exclude postage and packing. Small items will be sent by First Class Post and parcels will be sent by Royal Mail Standard Parcels or courier. Postage rates and payment details are available on request. PLEASE NOTE: I do not offer a same-day dispatch service! Most items will be posted within 4-5 working days of receipt of payment. If the dispatch time is likely to be any longer than this, I will endeavour to notify you. All items are second hand unless specifically advertised as new and are subject to availability. Clicking on the "Put in My BeebBasket" buttons will take you to a secure Paypal shopping screen with the current UK postage and packing rate applied. For enquiries about other items, or overseas postage or recorded delivery on items, or alternative payment methods, please contact me at Enquiries@BeebShop.co.uk. I endeavour to respond to all genuine e-mail enquiries as quickly as I can, but I know that sometimes people can have a little bit of difficulty in receiving my reply, so please check your junk mail box before thinking I've been ignoring you! Regrettably, I haven't got any stocks of power supplies, keyboards, keytops or keyswitches, so please don't ask as I'll only have to disappoint you! Every now and again I list items on E-Bay sometimes at a discount to the BeebShop prices - please check here to see any current listings. Occasionally I run special offers at the BeebShop, so please check back regularly for updates! |
