This module provides a 16K bank of sideways RAM on your BBC B and plugs into a free ROM socket. To enable write-access to the chip, a flying lead goes from the chip to a spring clip which is simply attached to one of three positions on the BBC Model B motherboard.

No soldering is required – just plug the module into a ROM socket, attach the clip and switch on!

With the Sideways RAM module, you can load all your favourite ROMs straight into your BBC without having to put them on EPROMs first. You can write your own sideways ROM software and test it at any time by loading the code into the Sideways RAM module.

The BeebMaster Sideways RAM Module comes with full fitting instructions and a utility disc with the software required to load data into the module.

The BeebMaster SRAM Module is compatible with the SRAM Utilities which are part of Acorn 1770 DFS.
